I loved getting to photograph the Falconer family for the second time. This session was with Bobby, Debbie, and baby Robert, and it was such a sweet one.
We had a nice overcast day in Atlanta, which gave us the prettiest cloudy sky backdrop. I know people tend to panic when the sun is not blazing, but overcast days are actually amazing for family photos. Soft light, no squinting, and no one melting into the sidewalk. We call that a win.
Baby Robert was the star of the session, obviously. Family sessions with little ones are always a mix of cuddles, tiny expressions, and everyone trying to get one solid smile at the same time. A very normal Olympic sport.
It is always special when families come back for another session. Getting to document the same family through different seasons is one of my favorite parts of this job.
