The Crumbaugh Family | Piedmont Park Family Photography

I met up with the Crumbaugh family in Piedmont Park for a fall session with Lindsey, Elliott, Wesley, Grace, and their babysitter Jenny who joined in to help keep things running smoothly.

With Wesley and Grace at the center of it all, there was plenty of energy and personality throughout the session. The kids were full of movement, laughs, and curiosity as we walked through the park.

The timing could not have been better. We caught that beautiful fall sunset lighting with the Midtown skyline sitting perfectly in the background. Piedmont Park always delivers when it comes to classic Atlanta scenery.

A fun evening with a great crew and the kind of light photographers always hope for.

Stella | Atlanta Newborn Photographer

Stella was wide awake for just about the entire session, but not a single fuss from her. Just calm, alert, and completely picture perfect.

Lupita, the original baby, made her presence known too — jumping in for some sweet shots with her new little sister and the rest of the family. Still clearly running the show.

One of my favorite photos from the session is of Stella and Carlos mid-expression, both wide open-mouthed like a tiny, adorable roar-off. The resemblance is uncanny.

Katie’s mom and Carlos’ parents joined in for a few frames as well — a special moment, especially with Carlos’ parents visiting from Mexico to meet their granddaughter for the first time.

Always fun capturing these early days, especially with a crew that brings both the sweetness and the personality.

The Russells | Woodstock Family Photographer

I’ve been photographing the Russell crew since Delilah was born in 2018, and every year just gets more entertaining.

Delilah used to be a little shy, but she’s fully come into her own. This time around, she even offered me a dollar to stop taking photos — which, honestly, might be the best compliment I’ve ever received. Harrison, as expected, was hamming it up with karate kicks, bum punches, and nonstop energy.

Their favorite toys made a quick cameo — Delilah’s baby doll and Harrison’s dinosaur, naturally. Nothing posed, nothing forced, just their personalities doing the work.

Always a blast with this family. They’re the kind of go-with-the-flow crew that makes these sessions feel less like a shoot and more like hanging out with old friends.

The Morgans | Roswell Family Photographer

Declan was in a great mood for this session — full of laughs, energy, and having the best time hanging out with Mom, Dad, and of course, Gritzy.

Gritzy (aka Gritz) was along for the ride, as long as we didn’t ask too much of him. He gave us a few solid poses and plenty of side-eye, which honestly just added to the charm.

November always hits just right for family sessions. The fall colors are at their peak, and with the sun setting earlier, families with little ones can still make the most of golden hour without pushing too late.

Easygoing crew, perfect light, and a good dose of personality from both the two-legged and four-legged family members.

The Owens Fam | Roswell Family Photographer

This session was originally set for Monday, but freezing temps (plus a little snow) had other plans. Luckily, Tiffany suggested we push to the next day — and it worked out perfectly.

Still a bit chilly, but Madelyn and Landon were total champs. We got some of the sweetest snuggles with Mom and the grandparents, along with a few classic leaf-throwing moments to keep things light and fun.

A relaxed session with an easy crew — always a win.

The Gillmans | Roswell Family Photographer

Another great fall session with the Gillmans. We had gorgeous light, crisp air, and a backdrop full of color — the kind of setting that makes everything feel easy.

Austin was full of smiles, totally content in front of the camera. Charlotte kept things fun, goofing off between poses and showing off her best ballet moves.

Sessions like this are always a reminder of how much personality little ones bring to the frame — especially when you just let them be themselves.

Conner, Meredith & Chris | Roswell Family Photographer

We lucked out with a beautiful fall day — the kind with bold colors, crisp air, and just enough sun.

Conner is now almost a year and a half old, which felt wild after last seeing him as a tiny newborn. Big difference in energy this time around. He was all in — smiling, exploring, swinging, and soaking up the snuggles with Mom and Dad.

Toddlers keep things moving, but that’s what makes these sessions fun. Nothing forced, just real moments and the pace they set.

Theo, Kelly & Kyle | Roswell Family Photographer

I first photographed Kelly and Kyle for their maternity session almost exactly four years ago, and now here we are — chasing their high-energy, full-of-personality little guy around for another fall session.

Theo is always a blast. Swinging with his parents, throwing leaves, and cracking up the whole way through. It’s been fun seeing more of his personality shine through each year.

These three are naturals in front of the camera. They don’t need much direction — just a chance to hang out and be themselves while I document the fun and connection.

Roshan & Aariv | Atlanta Newborn Photographer

The last time I saw Aariv, he was turning one with a full Harry Potter-themed birthday setup. Now he’s nearly three and packed with personality, energy, and some serious camera charm.

Toddler siblings can be a wild card during newborn sessions, but Aariv showed up ready to go. He was playful, sweet, and even sat with Roshan — surrounded by his favorite lovies — for one of the sweetest shots of the day.

Baby Roshan kept things calm and sleepy while his big brother did the heavy lifting in the entertainment department.

The Penevs | Brookhaven Family Photographer

I first photographed Todor and Meredith back in 2016 during a mini session in Atlanta with their sweet pup, Darcy. Fast forward nearly a decade, and now I’m getting to capture them with their two boys, Georgie and Nico.

The boys started off a little shy, but it didn’t take long before they opened up for a few smiles and some playful energy. There was plenty of laughter, a lot of running around, and the kind of high-energy moments that come with this stage of life.

It’s always something special to reconnect with families years later and see how much has changed — and how much hasn’t. Still the same joy, just a few more people in the frame.
