Jessica and Jai’s maternity session at Whittier Mill Park was such a sweet one.
Whittier Mill Park is one of my favorite spots in West Midtown for maternity photos because it gives you a little bit of everything. There are pretty brick mill buildings, an open green field, and plenty of texture without feeling too busy. It is a great Atlanta location when you want something natural but not just straight-up woods.
Jessica and Jai were so easy to photograph, and their session felt relaxed and full of excitement for the little one on the way. That is always the goal for maternity photos: document the anticipation without making it feel stiff or overly posed.
Maternity sessions are such a short window in a family’s story. One minute you are waiting, planning, and wondering what life will look like. The next minute, that baby is here and everything changes. Photos like these help preserve that in-between season.
