Jessica and Michael’s maternity session at Ponce City Market was such a fun one.
They were expecting their first little one, which meant these photos captured the season right before they became a family of three. Maternity sessions are always special, but there is something extra sweet about photographing first-time parents. Everything is new, exciting, and probably involves at least one running list of things still left to do before the baby arrives.
Ponce City Market is one of my favorite Atlanta locations for maternity photos because it has such a colorful, urban feel. The industrial backdrops, bold textures, and city energy make it a great change of pace from the greenery of parks.
Do not get me wrong, I love a good field. But sometimes brick, color, and a little Atlanta personality are exactly what a session needs.
Jessica and Michael were so easy to photograph, and their session felt relaxed, fun, and full of anticipation for the baby on the way.
