I loved getting to spend another morning with Shree and Nitin, this time to celebrate their first anniversary.
I first photographed them the year before for their engagement session in Atlanta, so it was really special to see them settled into their new home in Smyrna and celebrating their first year of marriage. There is something so sweet about photographing couples after the wedding season has passed, when life feels a little more settled and the photos are about the actual everyday love instead of the countdown to the big day.
And these two have so much love between them.
Anniversary sessions are such a good excuse to document where you are right now. Not every photo session needs to be tied to a wedding, a baby, or a holiday card. Sometimes “we made it through year one and still like each other” is more than enough reason. Honestly, that is a milestone.
This session was relaxed, personal, and such a sweet way to celebrate their first year together as husband and wife.
