I have been photographing Joanna and Kenan’s family since 2020, back when they were pregnant with their first daughter, Kahina. Now they have three girls, and every session somehow gets more fun, more lively, and more full of personality.
This wildflower field session was the perfect spot for their family. The girls had room to move, explore, laugh, and do what kids do best: keep everyone on their toes. Kahina, Leila, and Naima each have such different personalities, which makes photographing them so much fun. There is big sister energy, toddler curiosity, and plenty of sweet chaos.
A house with three girls is clearly not boring. Kenan may technically be outnumbered, but he seems to be surviving the female-led household just fine.
I always love working with this family because I have gotten to watch them grow from maternity photos to life with three daughters. These are the sessions that make family photography feel especially meaningful, because it is not just one moment. It is the full story over time.
